It’s the start of a new year and like most I have a new year’s resolution, yep you guessed it "to lose weight". So here is what I am going to do? I am going to keep a virtual diary with weekly updates. It will include • current weight • body measurements • energy consumption • exercise • thoughts, aka my pychological profile (warning contents may disturb some readers…) • progress pictures, ahhh the most embarrassing aspect of this process!

hey alex. been thinking of leaving a comment here for days, just couldn't get to it. i think it's normal to feel this way here and there. afterall it's a challenge not a leisure, so it's not supposed to be easy. don't be too harsh on yourself. any tiny progress is a part of solution and it doesn't has to happen every single day which also doesn't mean you are gonna fail. hang in there and you will be fine. :)

Hi Em, it's terrible isn't it? but the good news is, you can just get back on the horse. It took me a couple of days to get back into it, as you know I had a shocker last week, but I seem to be kind of back on track.
ReplyDeleteI did go out today for lunch and had a large bowl of pasta and 2 slices of bread with butter (not ideal). I feel bad for eating it, but I am just going to make sure my next meal is better (I haven't had dinner yet, but that is my plan)... I am also going to go for a walk, but I will walk a little longer to take care of a couple of strings of spaghetti...
I am just going to take it as it comes and try not to beat myself up too much (I guess the little good that we do is better than what we used to do?)
Hang in there my friend, as I know next week will be different for you :)
